Duality

Ink painting

Black and white colors are always accompanied by the question: are they considered colors?

It is undeniable that white is the sum of all light colors and black is their absence. According to Eva Heller in her book The Psychology of Color, a black-and-white photograph seems to have greater value than a color one. It is even said that some directors abandon color in their films so that their content receives greater attention. In such a multicolored world, black and white are the colors of objective facts.

Duality is a collection based on opposites that complement each other, on colors that are not colors—or perhaps they are. Duality invites you to focus on what is being observed, on its form and meaning
